what is Alpha
Alpha is a series of sessions that explore the foundations of the Christian faith in an honest and non-judgmental environment. Sessions typically begin with food and connection, followed by a talk and open discussion. All provided at no cost.
Alpha helps create space for honest conversation around some of life’s biggest questions through a series of interactive sessions. The sessions are designed to provide guests with an opportunity to share thoughts, ideas and opinions in a safe and caring environment.

When does Holy Comforter's Alpha course start?
Alpha starts on September 16th, 2026. It continues every Wednesday evening from 5:30-8pm through November 18th.
Will childcare be available?
Nursery will be available for children under 4 years old. Children and youth will have their own Alpha course that they will attend after eating dinner with everyone. All children and youth should be registered.
What is the Alpha Day Away?
The Day Away is October 31, 2026. It is a Saturday where we spend the whole day at a secondary location to participate in more sessions, fellowship, worship, and free time altogether! More details will be provided as we approach the date. You can still attend Alpha even if you can't or don't attend the Day Away.
When do I need to be registered by?
The registration deadline is September 4th. Please be registered before or by that day.
