Matt Moore

Interim Youth Ministry Director

Matt recently graduated with a Clinical Counseling degree from Columbia International University in May 2023. He completed his bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies with a concentration in Intercultural Studies (Missions) at North Greenville University in 2011. From an early age, he felt a strong calling to ministry, which guided his academic and professional endeavors, focusing on the study of the Bible, cultures and people.  

 

For over 6 years, Matt served as the Student Pastor at Harmony Church in Sumter. Additionally, he worked as the Construction Director for Sumter United Ministries for more than 3 years, where he continues to work part time.  Recently, he completed a year-long internship with The Christian Counseling Center in Columbia, deepening his passion for helping individuals grow closer to God through counseling.

 

Matt has been happily married to Jeanie for 12 years, and together they have three young children. During his free time, he enjoys reading, listening to music, podcasts, and audiobooks, as well as engaging in running, exercise, and cherishing quality moments with his family.
